    About the Seeds

    Romaine or Cos Lettuce is a variety that grows tall and has sturdy green leaves with a thick midrib that runs along the centre of the leaf. Super crunchy and packed with a lot of nutrients they remain fresher for longer after harvesting! A great accompaniment to almost all Asian and Western cuisine, just toss it with a dressing, add cherry tomatoes and it's perfect.

    Totally trustworthy seeds

    I had ordered a pack of Romaine lettuce seeds last year and by mistake the packet of seeds tumbled onto the seedling tray when I opened it. Every single seed sprouted vigorously in a few days, and I was shocked at its profusion. I distributed the seedlings to my neighbours and friends from far and near and I used to be referred to as the Romaine man. This year, I was more careful in opening the packet. I tried out a small sample and I am happy to say that every single seed has sprouted. It is so fascinating to watch the tiny little plants standing proudly erect. I have to look for a place to transplant these little heroines!
