Description For Citronella
It is a perennial herb from the family Poaceae; Leaf-blades drooping for two-thirds their length. Originated from Nepal, the plant is being cultivated in temperate and tropical regions of Asia. Citronella oil is processed by steam distillation from the wilted leaves. The oil with citronella as an ingredient is used by the soap, perfume and pharma industry. It is used mainly as an insect repellent, bio pesticide, antispasmodic, antibacterial, anti-fungal and deodoriser.
