As per my experience, this soil needs some mixing. Used alone, the soil is heavy. Hardens a bit on drying. Though its texture becomes good by mixing with some perlite and cocopeat. While tilling this soil, I find small lumps of clay at places and some water retention causing root rot. But these issues can be rectified by mixing and the soil becomes well draining. Read Less
