Ixora (Rugmini) Plant - Pink
Also known as Jungle Geraniums, Ixoras are small tropical shrubs that will reward you with beautiful clusters of flowers in bright pink with very little care. Perfect for balcony gardens, these hardy plants need full sun and not much space to grow. The flowers bloom in a tight ball-like cluster of tiny blooms that attract butterflies and bees with their sweet fragrance.
The Pink Rugmini plant is a diehard sun lover. As an outdoor plant, it thrives when allowed to bask under the sun for at least 6-8 hours daily. Remember, never deprive it of the sun, or you risk slowed growth and flower drop!
To get more blooms on your Ixora Pink plant, you must give it a little more of everything! More sunlight, more water, and more fertilizer will ensure a livelier plant with more blooms. Pro tip: Don’t forget to remove spent flowers regularly; they take up valuable energy that could go into new blooms!
Absolutely! Coffee grounds are a great addition for Ixora plants because they make soil slightly more acidic—just as these flowering beauties like it! However, always use soil amendments in moderation. Too much of anything is bad!
If you notice excessive leaf/flower drop on your plant, wilting leaves, or discoloration, you must act quickly! Save your plant by first pinpointing what's causing the problem. Following that, ensure proper lighting, watering, and moisture levels. Maintain a well-draining soil mix and fertilize with organic, balanced, and slow-release fertilizers like Ugaoo's Plant Food Bloom Sticks.
All the Pink Ixora needs is the right care, and it will thrive for many years, becoming one of your strongest and longest-standing companions.
Nice colour, some of the flowers seemed little down- but rest good and hopefully blooms well
The plant is beautiful & doing well but I have to mention that the packaging was not ok, the box was damaged fortunately the plant was not & has survived.
