Why is my harvested radish looking deformed?
Make sure that you have not grown radish in clayish heavy soil. In heavy soils, deformed forked roots with fibrous laterals are produced.
Why am I not getting proper radish roots?
Make sure that you have used a sufficient sized container with depth of at least 2 to 14 inches. Also avoid adding nitrogen fertilizers in the later stages of plant growth for better root formation.

Surprised to see almost all seeds sprouted in couple of weeks or less. Very good germination rate (95%). Good quality seeds really loved it's taste and also of superb quality.
Radish must be uprooted along with the entire plant at maturity. In hot weather, roots become more tough and pungent before reaching the edible maturity.
Radish can be grown almost in all kinds of soils but friable loam soil with high humus content is most suited. It can be grown in fairly acidic and saline soils.
Radish requires sufficient water right from germination to harvesting. Keep the soil in the potmoist all the time with daily watering.
