    Brinjal Kateri belongs to the nightshade family of vegetables. This variety of brinjals are small sized and oval in shape and are commonly eaten in Indian households. Famous for its use in Indian curries it also tastes good when roasted Mediterranean style. Despite of being small this fruit is packed with a lot nutrients and fibre!

    Do Brinjal Kateri need a lot of water?

    Brinjal Kateri loves moist soil but hates waterlogging! Water it 2-3 times a week, keeping the soil slightly damp but not soggy. In hot summers, increase watering, but always let the topsoil dry a bit between waterings. Remember, balance is key! Deep, consistent hydration = happy, high-yielding brinjals!

    Which month is best to plant Brinjal kateri?

    Brinjal Kateri seeds grow best in warm temperatures (25-35°C), so the ideal planting months are January-March for summer crops and June-July for monsoon planting. Does your region have milder temperatures year-round? Then you can also plant between September and November. Just give them plenty of sunshine, and they'll thrive wonderfully!

    Can Brinjal grow without sunlight?
