Corporate Gifting Policy

Corporate Gifting – Order Cancellation, Refund, Replacement & Resolution Policy

This policy governs all corporate gifting orders placed with Ugaoo. By placing an order, the customer agrees to be bound by the terms outlined below.


1. Order Confirmation, Acceptance & Ownership

  • An order shall be deemed confirmed only upon:
    • Receipt of order confirmation email from Ugaoo, and
    • Payment confirmation (full/partial as agreed).
  • Post confirmation, a dedicated Point of Contact (POC) will be assigned and communicated via the same email thread.
  • The assigned POC shall be the sole and authorized communication channel for all order-related matters.
  • Any communication outside this thread or with unauthorized personnel shall not be considered valid.

2. Strict Order Cancellation Policy

  • Orders may be cancelled strictly within 24 hours from the time of order placement.
  • Cancellation requests must:
    • Be raised only via email,
    • Be sent on the same email thread as the order confirmation, and
    • Be formally acknowledged by Ugaoo.
  • Failure Conditions (Automatic Rejection):
    • Requests raised after 24 hours
    • Requests not acknowledged by Ugaoo
    • Requests raised outside the official communication thread
  • Post 24 Hours:
    • Orders become final, non-cancellable, and non-modifiable, irrespective of order status (processing, packed, dispatched, or in transit).

3. Cancellation Charges

  • Any approved cancellation request within 24 hours shall be subject to applicable cancellation charges.
  • Charges will be:
    • Determined based on order value, volume, customization level, and procurement status
    • Communicated by the assigned POC post order confirmation
  • Ugaoo reserves the right to deduct applicable charges before processing any refund.
  • The decision on charges shall be final and binding.

4. Refund Policy (Strict)

  • No refunds shall be provided for plant products under any circumstances once the order is confirmed.
  • For non-plant products:
    • Partial refunds are strictly not allowed
    • Refunds apply only in case of full order cancellation, subject to:
      • Valid request within 24 hours
      • Formal acknowledgment by Ugaoo
  • Refund Processing:
    • Refunds will be initiated only after approval and applicable deductions (if any)
    • Refund will be processed via the original payment method only
    • Timeline: 6–8 business working days from approval
  • Exclusions:
    • No refund for:
      • Delayed requests
      • Partially fulfilled orders
      • Change of mind post 24 hours
      • Incorrect order placement by customer

5. Replacement & Resolution Policy (Case-Based Only)

  • Corporate gifting orders are not eligible for standard replacement.
  • In case of any issue:
    • Customer must contact the assigned POC immediately
    • All cases will be handled strictly on a case-to-case basis
  • Eligibility Conditions:
    • Issue must be reported within a reasonable timeframe
    • Valid proof (images/videos/documents) must be provided if requested
    • Claim must be verified as genuine by Ugaoo
  • Resolution Scope:
    • Replacement, partial support, or rejection — entirely at Ugaoo’s discretion
  • Resolution Timeline:
    • Post approval, resolution (including replacement if applicable) will be initiated
    • POC will provide updates/closure within 4–6 working days from approval
  • Final Authority:
    • All decisions taken by Ugaoo shall be final, binding, and non-disputable

6. Issue Reporting & Liability Limitations

  • All issues must be reported through the assigned POC only.
  • Ugaoo reserves the right to:
    • Accept, reject, or partially resolve claims
    • Request additional information or proof
    • Close cases if insufficient data is provided
  • Liability Limitations:
    • Ugaoo shall not be liable for:
      • Minor transit-related variations (especially for plants)
      • Delays caused by third-party logistics
      • Incorrect information provided by the customer
      • Force majeure events

7. Communication & Acknowledgment Binding

  • Only written communication acknowledged by Ugaoo via official email thread shall be considered valid.
  • Verbal communication or unacknowledged emails shall have no legal standing.

8. Governing Terms & Legal Binding

  • In case of any conflict:
    • Ugaoo’s interpretation shall prevail
    • All decisions made by Ugaoo shall be final and binding
