Why are my Cucumber seeds not germinating?
Growing conditions like moisture, improper soil temperature, over watering or under watering can all be a reason why your seeds are not germinating.
Why are flowers on my cucumber plant not producing cucumbers?
The cucumber plant has both male and female flowers. The male flowers bloom much before the female flowers. So it is possible that these flowers are not producing any fruit yet because they are male flowers. However, if despite of having abundant male and female flowers if your plant is not producing any cucumbers, it can be due to lack of pollination. To avoid this you can try hand pollination. Take pollens from the male flower on painting brush or cotton bud & dust them on ‘stigma’ of female flowers.
Why are my cucumber seedlings wilting?
Overwatering is the main cause for wilting. Too much water can drown your seedlings and deprive their roots of air, which leads to wilting and your seedlings might eventually die.
All the plant gossip, through the grapevine. Pun intended

Extremely low calorie count and made up of approximately 96% water, cucumbers are a great source of hydration in those hot summer months. They are also rich in antioxidants like flavonoids and tannins which will help keep chronic diseases at bay. Cucumbers are also a great addition to your skin care regime and chilled cucumber slices reduce puffiness and swelling.
One cup of raw cucumber contains approximately 19 calories. Despite of being so low in calories, it packs a punch when it comes to nutrients. Cucumbers are a great source of fibre, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Potassium, Magnesium and Manganese. Cucumbers when home grown, pesticide free and eaten with their peels are more nutrient dense.
1.Eating cucumbers with the peel offers a larger amount of fibre, vitamins and minerals.
2.Cucumbers are being cultivated since around 8,000 B.C.
3.When eaten or applied topically, the cucumber has an ability to lower the blood temperature, and it is this property that gave rise to the phase “cool as a cucumber”.
