    The seeds have a successful germination rate of over 70%, the seeds in the packet can be used for several sowings. Follow the sowing instructions on the back of the packet.

    Sowing: Spring

    The major growing season is from February to April. Seeds need to be sown in late January or early February. Start your seeds indoors for a higher rate of success.

    Germination: 7-21 days

    Germinate your seeds indoors in seedling cups in a mix of cocopeat and compost and place it in a well-ventilated area. Follow the sowing instructions at the back of the packet.

    Harvest in 12-14 Weeks

    The approximate number of days it takes from sowing of seeds and successful germination to the time you can harvest it. PS: All other growing conditions need to be met.

    About the Seeds

    These flowers are commonly known as China Asters (Callistephus chinensis) belonging to the family Asteraceae. Not to be confused with European perennial, Aster amellus i.e. Michaelmas Daisies. Asters are one of the most valuable garden flowers because of the great colour range. These sun loving annuals are better grown in cool seasons.

    Good seeds

    I purchased them in October and have sown it but the growth is very slow. The seeds have turned into small seedlings. Waiting for them to grow soon and produce flowers soon. The tiny seedlings in the image are asters. I sowed it with chrysanthemums.
