    About The Product

    The lupins plant is great for your vegetable garden because it fixes nitrogen in the soil. The leaves grow in groups of 7 to 11 leaflets, each leaflet 2 and half inches long. The flowers are pea-shaped, in shades of purple, pink, blue and yellow. Lupins attract butterflies, especially the endangered special of butterfly called Karner Blue butterfly.

    Do Lupins need heat to germinate?

    Lupins like it cool but not too cold! They germinate best at temperatures between 15–20°C. Too much heat can slow them down, while cooler temps may delay sprouting. To speed things up, soak the seeds overnight or scarify them slightly before planting. Give them the right conditions, and they’ll be up and growing in no time!

    How long does it take for Lupines to germinate?

    Lupines usually take 10–30 days to germinate, depending on temperature and soil conditions. For a head start, soak the seeds overnight or gently nick the seed coat before planting. Keep the soil moist but not soggy, and in a couple of weeks, you’ll see those first little sprouts reaching for the sun!

    Does Lupin like full sun?

    Absolutely! Lupins love full sun and thrive best with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily. More sun means stronger stems, vibrant blooms, and happy plants!
