While easy to care for, it’s always better to know exactly how to care for any plant that you are getting home. So, here are a few basics about how to care for your succulent plants that come with this bundle:| Care Requirements | Tips & Tricks |
|---|---|
Light Requirements |
While these succulents do well in bright, indirect light, they do best when placed in direct sunlight. So, find the sunniest spots in your home and decorate with your plants! |
Watering Needs |
All three Echeveria plants need watering only once in two weeks. However, the Golden Sedum needs watering more frequently, i.e. once in a week. When watering, ensure that the soil is completely dried out. This will reduce the risk of overwatering and root rot. |
Humidity |
None of these plants need any additional humidity and they do pretty well with regular humidity levels indoors. Additionally, you must remember that the Echeveria succulents do not like water in their rosettes. |
Soil and Potting |
Succulents generally need slightly different soil with much better drainage and aeration. For this, you can use Ugaoo’s Cactus and Succulent Potting Mix. This is the perfect blend of essential ingredients such as Perlite that enhance the drainage of your plants’ soil. |
Fertilization |
To feed your tabletop succulent plants, you can use Ugaoo’s Plant Food Fertilizer Sticks. These sticks only need to be inserted into the plant’s soil in order to work their magic. Push one stick into each pot, away from the stem and near the roots. Every time you water the plant, this stick will release all-round and balanced nutrients that will help your plants grow over time. |
