Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee and manage all warehouse activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, order fulfilment, and shipping.
  • Implement and maintain efficient and organized warehouse processes to optimize workflow.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
  • Lead, mentor, and train warehouse staff, ensuring a high level of productivity and motivation.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse personnel to meet operational objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure the accuracy and condition of received and shipped goods.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse to identify and resolve any safety or maintenance issues.
  • Implement inventory control procedures, including cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and audits.
  • Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast demand and plan for inventory replenishment.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technologies to streamline operations and improve accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities for system enhancements and upgrades to improve efficiency.
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures to create a secure working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state regulations related to warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in warehouse management, with a track record of successful leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and other relevant technologies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
