    Zinnia Lilliput Mix is a compact, free-flowering annual. It brings vibrant, non-stop colour to Indian home gardens. One of the easiest flowering plants for beginners.

    • Produces small, pom-pom-like double blooms in pink, red, orange, yellow, and white
    • One of the fastest-flowering annuals. Perfect for quick garden colour or festive décor
    • Great for borders, pots, balconies, and cut flower bouquets
    • Grow it organically in Ugaoo's Potting Mix, chemical-free blooms all season long

    Number of seeds per gram (aprox): 162

    Sowing
    • Sow seeds 0.5 cm deep in a seedling tray. Use Ugaoo's Potting Mix for better results.
    • Best time to sow: February-June, avoiding frost and peak summer heat.
    • During this time, keep it indoors in low light and maintain good humidity.
    Germination
    • Seeds sprout in 4–7 days.
    • Keep soil moist during this period.
    • Once sprouts appear, move to a bright spot with direct sun.
    Transplanting
    • Seedlings are ready to transplant once they have 2–3 true leaves, usually after 15–20 days.
    • Transplant into a pot or garden bed (at least 20 cm deep) with well-draining soil mix.
    • Do it in the evening or on a cloudy day to reduce transplant shock.
    • Water well immediately after transplanting and keep in partial shade for 1–2 days before moving to full sun.
    Growing
    • Needs direct sun, at least 5–6 hours daily.
    • Water regularly at the base, keeping soil moist but not waterlogged. Avoid wetting the leaves to prevent fungal issues.
    • Use a pot with drainage holes.
    • Space plants 15–20 cm apart, rows 20–25 cm apart.
    • Feed with Ugaoo's cow manure every 25 days. Use Ugaoo's neem cake and neem oil spray to keep pests away.
    • Pinch off the growing tip early on to encourage bushier growth and more blooms.
    Aftercare & Post-Harvest
    • Reduced flowering and weaker stems signal the plant is nearing the end of its cycle.
    • Extreme heat or heavy rain can stress the plant and shorten its flowering period.
    • Once flowering slows down significantly, pull the plant out and sow fresh for the next season.
    Harvesting
    • Flowers are ready for harvest/blooming in 45–55 days.
    • Cut flowers in the cool morning hours for the best vase life, snipping just above a leaf node.
    • Remove dried flowers regularly; this encourages the plant to keep producing new flowers.
    • A healthy plant can keep flowering continuously for 2–3 months.
