Product Details

Morning Glory is a fast, vigorous climbing flower that transforms any wall, fence, or trellis into a cascade of colour. Flowers open each morning in the most vivid blues and purples.

Trumpet-shaped blooms in vivid blue, purple, pink, red, and white.
Fast-growing climber that covers fences, railings, and trellises with ease.
Flowers every morning from June onwards, adding daily colour to your outdoor space.
Grow it organically in Ugaoo's Potting Mix, chemical-free blooms all season long.

Sowing

Sow seeds 1–2 cm deep directly in the pot or at the base of your chosen support structure.
Soak seeds in water for 12–24 hours before sowing to speed up germination.
Use Ugaoo's Potting Mix for better results.
Best time to sow: February to May, when the weather is warm.
Keep it in a warm, sunny spot after sowing.

Germination

Seeds sprout in 5–7 days.
Keep soil moist during this period.
Once sprouts appear, direct them towards the support structure.

Transplanting

NA - Morning Glory prefers direct sowing and dislikes root disturbance.

Growing

Needs direct sun, at least 6 hours daily for good flowering.
Water when the topsoil feels dry. Avoid overwatering.
Use a pot with drainage holes near your support structure.
Provide a trellis, jali, wire, or railing for the plant to climb.
Feed with cow manure every 20 days. Use neem cake and neem oil spray to keep pests away.
Pinch back young shoots to encourage bushier growth and more flowers.

Aftercare & Post-Harvest

Morning Glory is an annual. Once the season ends and flowering slows, pull the plant out.
Collect dried seed pods and save seeds for the next season.
Re-sow fresh seeds the following February.
